Your Questions Answered
What is included with a dry hire?
Our dry hire gives you full access to the studio spaces – the cove and concrete wall, along with our kitchen, shower room, toilets, and private client lounge. Dry hire does not include studio assistance, but if you need support, we can arrange for a studio technician to be on hand.
What happens if my shoot overruns?
If you think your shoot might run over, let us know as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate, but overtime charges will apply. For full details, check our terms & conditions.
Can I hire the studio on a weekend?
Our standard opening hours are 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. We do open on weekends for special bookings, but a 30% surcharge applies to studio hire rates, including overtime. Get in touch at hello@stmo.studio to discuss weekend availability.
Does the studio have lighting?
We do not have a permanent lighting rig, but our team can set up almost anything you need. We also have in-house equipment hire available, so just let us know your lighting requirements and we will take care of it.
What power does the studio have?
We have a 3-phase 40Kwh supply, broken out into:
- 1x 32A 3-phase outlet
- 2x 32A single-phase outlets
- 4x 16A outlets
- 12x 13A standard sockets
If you need extra power, we also have a 7Kwh generator available for hire.
What is your pencil policy?
We can hold a pencil booking up to 72 hours before your shoot date. Within that timeframe, we will ask for a 50% deposit in line with our standard booking terms.
